Dermal Fillers

Our dermal fillers can eradicate wrinkles, or fill in fine lines quickly and effectively, giving your face a fresh and youthful appearance.

What are dermal fillers?

Lines and wrinkles are an inevitable part of the ageing process. They tend to creep up on you almost unnoticed at first. Creases when you smile at the corners of your eyes, or horizontal lines on your forehead when you frown, they are all signs that your face is starting to age.

Thankfully, there are now simple injectable treatments which, when performed by qualified doctors or nurses, can eradicate those lines quickly and effectively.

The treatment of choice for many people are dermal fillers. Dermal fillers are composed of hyaluronic acid which exists in the body naturally in small quantities. The dermal skin fillers of choice at Lanson include some of the world’s most recognised and trusted brands. No prior skin test is required.

Dermal fillers are a great treatment method to combat ageing. When you smile or frown the wrinkles are then not visible. This gives a fresh and youthful appearance to your face.

Can treatment be combined with other dermal fillers?

Some patients do combine dermal fillers in the face with other treatments such as lip enhancements. You can discuss these options at your Lanson Medical consultation.

How is treatment performed?

All dermal filler treatments are performed only by qualified doctors and nurses at Lanson.

The injectable treatment takes only 20 to 30 minutes, but allowing time for the numbing cream you will be at the clinic for around 60 minutes and then you can go home directly after the treatment.

There is no downtime after dermal filler treatments. Your face may feel a little sensitive for a short while afterwards, however you will have full recovery after around 24 hours.

How long do the results last?

For most patients, results last between three and twelve months depending on the type of filler used. Top up treatments will be required for all patients as this treatment is not permanent. Following your first treatment we will be able to gauge more accurately how long you will need between top up treatments.
